Shocking conditions or winding roads? When asphalt becomes boring and gravel, dirt and dust are too tempting, HEAVY TRACKTM 4 x 4 shock absorbers by KONl are the ideal all-terrain option. These shock absorbers will deliver optimum road holding and comfort both on and off road.
Available in the 30 Series, 82 Series, or 88 Series, KONI HEAVY TRACK 4 x 4 shock absorbers have been specially developed by KONI for 4WD’s and SUVs. Tested under extreme conditions, these dampers satisfy the highest off road demands regarding safety, stability and grip, while on the road you can count on greater comfort and a higher level of safety, and better road holding. KONI HEAVY TRACK shocks ensure greater stamina for both drivers and vehicles.
Although not used as a common option in the KONI 4WD range, the 30 Series mono tube hydraulic shock absorbers are used in a select range of applications, with KONI using a horses for courses approach when it comes to deciding which type of shock absorber is best suited for a vehicle application.
The 82 Series twin tube hydraulic shock comes with a 33mm Teflon coated piston suitable for both standard and raised applications and represents the majority of applications in the KONI 4WD range. Meeting the needs of the vast majority of 4WD owners, the 82 Series shock is designed as an "all-rounder" providing an upgrade to vehicles as an OE replacement, or to cater for heavier loads and more challenging driving conditions.
The 88 Series shock is also twin tube hydraulic, with a larger 36mm Teflon coated piston, heat resistant Viton seals, and 55mm body diameter, this Series is designed to provide a more subtle damping experience ideal for desert and sand off road conditions. The 88 Series shock is suited for raised applications, and provides a safe, comfortable option and smart return on investment.
In short, KONI HEAVY TRACK shock absorbers are perfect allroad™ shocks absorbers irrespective of the driving conditions.
KONI HEAVY TRACK shock absorbers are completely rebound adjustable, allowing the rebound damping characteristic to be adapted to different circumstances.
